Teeth whitening

Professional teeth whitening is an extremely effective and safe method to permanently whiten teeth, starting from their base shade.

Throughout life, teeth absorb pigments from foods, drinks, and smoking, causing the base shade to become more intense. There are various methods of professional whitening, quite different from the various kits sold in pharmacies or advertised online. The latter do not penetrate deeply to remove pigments, resulting in a "white effect" that fades quickly.

Professional whitening, on the other hand, provides permanent results and is mainly performed in two ways: either in the dentist's chair using professionally dosed products for this procedure, or with home methods, which we prefer.

The latter method involves a transparent "tray" made from the impression of the arch that you want to whiten. The patient, properly instructed, places the whitening material provided by the dentist in the tray and wears it, preferably overnight.

This method allows the material to remain in contact with the tooth surfaces for several hours, fully exploiting its whitening potential. The whitening achieved through this method is permanent.
